Ft Story is located on both the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia Beach. The Fort only has a few tenet commands and is mostly used as a rest and relaxion destination for military members and their families. Military families can rent cottages and hotel style rooms and enjoy the wide beach on the Chesapeake Bay. On the East side of Ft Story is the Atlantic Ocean, where tenet commands practice their amphibious operations. In the center of the Fort, stands an Old Cape Henry Lighthouse that visitors may explore.
